You're probably getting sick of looking at all the different wedding videos out there, trust me, there are alot, and just like the videographers themselves they come in all different shapes and sizes - short, long, widescreen, standard, so here's a quick one sided speed date for you to get to know me.

I’m Bill. A 30 something year old with a bit of a camera obsession and a love for hiking and all things outdoors. A few of my favourite things are sunrises, full moons, being underwater, shorts, thongs, whales, pasta with a lot of cheese, and sarsaparilla, i'm one of those weirdos whose bloody keen on any of the medicine flavoured drinks. I'm a husband to Chloe and a father to my little Mason. I'm just on 6 ft tall, i've been making dad jokes since wayyy before becoming a dad, and have been making wedding videos since 2018.

On your day you can consider me an extension of your bridal party, I’m there to have fun with you, help with whatever I can (I’ll even be your pack mule with snacks and water in my bag), and capture it all.

A few dorky self timer adventure snaps of clo and i below

I bloody love an adventure, and I’m 100% down if you want an adventure day.

FAQ

WHY DO YOU FILM WEDDINGS?

They’re fun. I seriously get so much personal fulfilment from them, on the day and in the editing room. They’re not easy, they are high pressure full on days, but i get excited for your day like a kid for cake so I’m just going to keep doing them.

HOW DOES THIS ALL WORK?

We get in touch, have a call or video chat, see if we’re a good fit. We figure out what you’re wanting, then get the date locked in with a $800 retainer fee which is part of the total cost. We chat a couple more times as days get closer to narrow in on the finer details and make sure planning and timelines look good, meet up in person if we can, and a month out we cover the remaining costs. You get married, I film it. I go home, backup all the footage and audio files, then start putting it together. The next part often surprises people, I’ll spend anywhere 30-40+ hours in the editing room with your films.

DO YOU DO WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHY FULL TIME?

No. My 9-5 is spent in a molecular microbiology lab where I am the Quality Manager. This work challenges me in a completely different way to filming weddings, I really enjoy both types of work, they are extremely contrasting and I like that all of my creativity is saved up for creating wedding videos.

DO YOU CHARGE TRAVEL FEES?

I try not to, but once the trip from my location of Jervis Bay, NSW gets to over a 2 hour drive away, we may need to discuss it.

CAN I PICK MY OWN SONGS?

Music licensing is more complex than I’d like it to be, and using songs you already know or have heard on the radio generally cost in the thousands or more to licence (to use legally). I will only use licensed music. I’ll ask you about what types or music you do and don’t like as we lead up to the wedding, and what sort of vibe you imagine it being, then do my best to find the perfect songs for your film the legal way.

ARE ANY EDIT REVISIONS ALLOWED?

I’m very happy to work with you if there’s a moment or a special someone I’ve missed from your film, within reason. Song changes are generally not permitted.

DO YOU USE DRONES?

I do if I can and the setting is right, if it’s safe, and within the CASA regulations. I will only use them for establishing shots. You don’t want a noisy drone buzzing over people at your ceremony, and it’s illegal.

WHAT ABOUT THE COST?

I'm all about full transparency, none of this 'starting pricing' bullshit for just a few mins highlights only to be pushed to spend more on a call. All my pricing is straight up on the pricing page.

HOW DO I RECEIVE MY FINAL VIDEOS?

You receive your own netflix style wedding film gallery website with all your videos inside. I'm all about your final viewing experience and love using these galleries because you can stream your gallery directly to your tv.
